Here's some shots of one I just finished for Canadian fingerstyle "madman" Don Alder. Don did my mini-concerts as well as lots of others at Healdsburg. I say it's finished -well almost. This guitar has a dual source pickup system that Don furnished and unfortunately I can't find the UST. It was a Fishman active matrix and all I need is the UST itself. Is anyone on the forum a dealer or can someone point me to a dealer who will sell me just the UST? I'm running it through a Dtar Timberline endpin preamp along with an internal mic. Fortunately I didn't loose any of those.

Thanks for your help.

Jimmy...I just pm'd you a bit ago, but maybe you'll see this first.
I have a Fishman Acoustic Matrix "natural" UST complete with the end jack preamp. The ribbon is a copper color and is about .050" thick. It is NOT attached to the preamp so you can solder it to anything you want.
You're welcome to the entire unit if it will help. I won't ever be using it...having switched to soundboard p.u. like K&K, etc.

Jimmy, I can't help with the pickup, but I couldn't let that beautiful guitar pass without comment.

AWESOME!!

To expand that a bit, I love it when people think outside the normal parameters.

Mixed top, great shape that flows from base to treble, neat soundhole formation, pinless bridge, Zero fret, and I bet one of your bolt on necks. You are truly a great builder, and I will steal your ideas without qualm.

Colin

Jimmy,

Absolutely stunning, awesome, standing ovation (can I use that word, in this context, as a compliment?) instrument.

You know how you can look at a Ferrari, parked at the curb, and still sense what it can do? That's what this design says to me!

Looking forward to hearing what Don Alder does through it!

Dennis
